Colio Estate Wines is a pioneer in the Canadian wine industry as the first winery established in the Lake Erie North Shore wine region in southern Ontario.

A highly respected Italian winemaker, Carlo Negri (left in photo) was lured to Canada twenty years ago to help break ground at Colio Estate. As Colio’s senior winemaker, Carlo is excited about his ultra premium wines and was rewarded by the wine industry as ‘Winemaker of the Year’ in 2005. During supper, Carlo will enchant you with stories of his wines and his latest adventure of learning from the grappa masters in Italy with the goal to creating Canada ’s first grappa at Colio. And, he will undoubtedly give you the inside scoop about Colio’s second winery slated to open in Niagara in 2009.

Carlo will pull out all of the stops at this event! Eight of his ‘ultra premium’ wines will be matched with a gourmet multi course meal featuring TRIO’s new autumn menu of sharing plates created with locally grown ingredients. Some of the wines that will be sampled include a sparkling wine, a white wine made from an interesting grape variety - Chardonnay Musqué, one of Ontario ’s finest Shiraz wines and a Reserve Merlot from 2002.

Option #1 - Individual event tickets: $85 per person or designated driver $80. Ticket prices include gratuities and taxes.

Option #2 - A table for 8 - Book a table of 8 for $600 total per event (a savings of $10 per person). This is a great way to share the experience with friends and entertain clients.
